The SMD Shield is a compact, surface-mountable magnetic shield designed for use with PCB-based current sensing applications.

Designed for Embedded Sensor Shielding
Constructed using a NiFe alloy (48% NiFe), the SMD Shield achieves: High permeability (μr up to 100,000), very low hysteresis (2.8 A/m), Curie temperature of about 450°C, stable saturation flux density (1 Tesla)
The shield is placed directly above or below the sensor, protecting it from parasitic magnetic fields while enabling accurate current measurement.
Diagonal leads ensure precise alignment with the magnetic sensor, mountable with glue or available with solderable pins upon request.
Magnetic shielding materials attract and guide magnetic field lines away from sensitive components. By creating a preferred path for the magnetic field, they reduce the field strength within protected regions.
