Why use a U-Shield?

The U-shaped design is optimized for integration with magnetic sensors, such as Hall effect sensors, Anisotropic Magneto-Resistive (AMR) sensors and bus-bar conductors, by providing a low-reluctance path that channels and concentrates magnetic flux. It effectively blocks parasitic magnetic interference from nearby conductors or external sources while enhancing sensor sensitivity and providing high signal-to-offset ratio (SOR).
